Positive Pet Parenting™ Courses help people raise educated adult dogs who are friendly, confident, relaxed, flexible, loveable, well-mannered members of the family.

The method is easy!  Pet parents are enrolled fun “Positive Pet Parenting™  Courses. Each lesson arrives with a pet cartoon and essential insights. Pet parents learn gentle methods of pet behavior modification by visiting a  "Self-help" Online Pet Behavior Library. Educated pet parents help shelter pets adjust more quickly to their new homes.

Warning:  Dog bites and serious aggression  when the dog reaches full maturity at 2 to 4 years of age. By then, you can modify your dog's behavior but it is much harder because early learning endures. Be proactive and prevent dog aggression with Positive Pet Parenting™. Below are the results of a study by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Humane Society of the United States showing dog  bite statistics over a 20 year period.

Sad Statistics:  Dog bites are the #1 US health threat according to the CDC

P   4.5 Mil dog bites reported annually (2% of US population), most never reported to the authorities.

P    Dogs between 1 and 5 years of age bite more than older than 6 years old. Male dogs bite the most.

P The CDC documents chained dogs 2.8 times more likely to bite than an unchained dog.

P    Canines that are NOT spayed or neutered are 3 times more likely to bite.

P    10 to 20 people die every year in the US as a result of dog bites with the majority of victims - by far - being children. Dog bites are the greatest public health threat in the United States.

P    Unwanted pet behavior leads to more death in pets than all health threats combined. Behavior problems are the leading cause of pet neglect, abuse, surrender, and euthanasia.

P   Statistics quantify the effects of behavior problems on the relinquishment of pets to shelters resulting in the breakdown of the human-animal bond and euthanasia of otherwise healthy companion animals (Miller, et al., 1996; Patronek, 1996; Salman, et al., 2000).
